A New Page

Welcome to my first blog of 2025 and the first one on my new website! (I have copied over all my old blogs from my previous site so please have a read if you missed any.)

January and February have flown past and the pages in my new diary are filling up fast.

The weather is slowly warming up and the Spring bulbs are already popping up in my flower beds. I did manage to spend a few hours out in the sunshine this weekend tidying, pruning and making a list of future garden jobs to tackle.

Indoors I have an ongoing project - the redecoration of my sewing/stock room. The walls need repainting and I plan to wallpaper one wall with some beautiful vintage floral Laura Ashley paper. The old carpet is being replaced with vinyl floorboard planks which luckily can be done in stages but it still means moving all the furniture and crates of stock around! At the moment this momentous task seems very daunting but it is a chance to have a good reorganisation and sort all my treasures ready to be listed in my Etsy shop or be packed for fairs. I hope to update you on my progress in a future blog!

Talking of fairs, my next one is fast approaching. I will be returning to the beautiful village hall in Penshurst on Saturday 5th April with lots of pretty haberdashery and homewares as well as some handmade Easter gifts.
